The food we eat has many benefits. However, it also carries with it an enormous number of risks; therefore it needs to be monitored and it needs to be tailored to each individual patient.

The Metabolic Lab

We believe in the underlying premise that every person is biochemically unique and therefore each treatment approach should also be individual, not one-size-fits-all. Our specialized program is client-centered, rather than a disease-centered model of care. Our team of professionals supervises a reduction or increase in weight, as appropriate, adapted to the patient’s physical constitution, metabolism and profile. This is accomplished with:

  • History and Physical Examination
  • Blood work will be analyzed for any imbalances and deficiencies.
  • Resting Metabolic Rate Test
  • A Monthly Styku 3D Body Imaging (This test uses infrared scanning to determine your baseline visceral and subcutaneous fat, muscle and bone density. This information will provide you with a baseline to track your progress and reach your goals)
  • Physical Exercise Program
  • A monthly diet plan and personalized health plan (Plan will be reviewed every month by our medical team to make sure your metabolism is optimized and your nutritional goals reached.)

The program focuses on healthy, regular function of individual organs and systems, such as the digestive and immune systems, but more importantly on the body as a whole. Every day, millions of chemical reactions take place within our body to sustain life. These reactions include but are not limited to aiding in transporting of energy molecules such as ATP, converting energy molecules to waste products, cell turnover and regeneration, and oxygen transport. Specific enzymes drive each of these reactions, and each enzyme requires specific vitamins and minerals to function. All of these vitamins and minerals play a vital role at the cellular level and are critical to your overall health and sense of wellbeing.

What we eat also plays a big role in how we exercise and train in the gym or at our respective sports. Having a balanced and nutritional diet is important to reach your fitness and wellness goals.
